Does Liquid Collagen in Your Skin Care Products Help?

Manufacturers of skin care products have always wished that collagen could be absorbed in the skin because that way they could maximize their profits.
Collagen being the protein that is responsible for the elasticity and strength of the skin is the culprit responsible for those wrinkles associated with aging. Knowing very well that aging is the worst most, we can do anything to avoid wrinkles, so when manufacturers of skin care products say their products contain collagen we take that to mean that it is absorbable to our skin hence the remedy to our wrinkling problem.
This is a misconception which needs to be corrected. First, solid or liquid collagen molecules contain the same structure, that of a complex protein. It is a well known fact that collagen is not absorbable through the skin.
So next time a product says it contains collagen, disregard it immateriality because the fact is; that is impossibility.
