Keep Your Skin Healthy and Glowing in the winters

A regular skin care regime especially during the winters is a must as low temperatures, ice and snow leaves the skin dry, rough and patchy. You have to nourish and care for your skin more during the winters to retain the youthful glow.

Moisturize your skin regularly. Other than the face, do concentrate on moisturizing your hands, feet, elbows and knees too. If you have a sensitive skin avoid oil based creams as the skin might become prone to pimples. Winter sun is stronger, so using a sunscreen especially made for winters is advisable. Drink lots of water, start having warm tea more often and avoid eating cold food.

Also during winters use mild face cleansers instead of soaps, and cleansers with aloe vera is highly recommended. Use a humidifier in your room to add adequate moisture in the air which shall prevent your skin from drying. Follow these basic rules and you shall have a healthy glowing skin all the time.
